Surgical abortion risks include uterine perforation, infection, incomplete abortion, scarring of the uterus, and damage to the womb/cervix.

Should I Consider Adoption? 

Adoption is a permanent legal agreement that transfers parental rights from the birth parents to the adoptive parents. Adoption has dramatically improved over the years, and you can choose an adoption plan based on what type of relationship you want with your child.

Some women choose adoption to give their child a better future. It may be the right choice for you if:

• You are a student or want to focus on your career
• You may not be financially stable
• You are not in a safe or stable situation to raise a child
• You do not have a support system in your community to help you
• Parenting is not the right choice for you
